THE YURT at The Yellow House
The Yurt is nestled high on Observation among stone pines and pepper trees with stunning views of the canyon, nearby forests and hiking trails. At night, one can hear all the sounds of the canyon, like a symphony.
Our artist residents stay in a circular 30' Yurt. The Yurt has a sizable living space with a full sized bed, walk-in closet, full bathroom shower/tub, kitchenette, and wifi. To sleep and exist in a circular area affects mood and imagination.
The Open Call for Residencies will resume in the Fall of 2024. We look forward to hosting six residencies per year.
Application Process
We accept digital applications only which include support materials and an online form, a button and link are found at the bottom of this page. Your application will include your proposed project, CV, artist statement, and examples of recent work.
Selection and Eligibility

Contemporary artists working in all disciplines may apply. Applicants should submit a proposal outlining their interests and hopes for working at The Yellow House, alongside a CV, artist statement, and examples of current work.
